Tom’s Little Hide has its own private dining, lounge and entertainment area, plunge pool, private guide and private vehicle. The house was named in honour of the late Tom Preston who built The Hide. It is set in a great location with superb views over the waterhole and ancient elephant paths are close by. Perfect for friends and family groups wanting to explore Hwange but from their own private haven.
Location: Situated on the eastern boundary of Hwange National Park in a 5 square km area, Tom’s Little Hide is one of the few private camps in the National Park. It is a little over an hour’s drive from Hwange Main Camp (which is a 2-3 hour road transfer from Victoria Falls). Approximately 40 minute charter flight from Victoria Falls and a little over an hour’s drive from Hwange Airport through the National Park. This transfer is conducted in a Hide open safari vehicle and offers game viewing opportunities.
Number Rooms: There are 3 large luxury en-suite rooms inside Tom’s House, all overlooking the waterhole.
Room Features: Each room has an outside and inside shower, his and hers hand basins and flush toilet. All rooms have mosquito proofed and have fans. One room has an attached child room.

Power Source: Powered by mains electricity (220 volts) with generator back up.
Activities: Morning and afternoon guided walks are offered (no under 16), morning and afternoon game drives; night drives with a spotlight, ‘hide sits’ around pans and full day excursions. An overnight sleep-out in the ‘Dove’s Nest’ tree house for 2 can be arranged.
