This tented lodge is situated in a private concession on the magnificent Ngamo Plain, bordering the edge of the remote and unspoilt South East corner of Hwange National Park. Bomani is famous for its unique scenery, enormous herds of elephants, abundance of wildlife and 400 species of bird. The rooms are all equipped to deal with all weathers, but during the colder months the lodge provides hot water bottles for more warmth. When visiting the lodge, guests are encouraged to visit the nearby villages and schools to interact with the people.
Location: Situated on a 5000 acre private reserve within the Ngamo Forest Area. 1 hour transfer in a small plane charter from Victoria Falls, 4 hour road transfer from Victoria Falls or Bulawayo and 15 minute drive from our own private gate into Hwange National Park
Number of Rooms: 9 deluxe en suite safari tents and a thatched Family bungalow.
Room Features: The 5 Hornbill Tents are raised 1 metre above the ground on wooden decks and overlook the Ngamo Plain. The 4 Spurwing Suites and the bungalow are at ground level and overlook the lodge waterhole. Each tent is furnished, and has a private en-suite bathroom with hot water.

Other Camp Features: Open dining room, bar area, and lounge located in the main lodge. During the cold winter evenings, open fireplaces are lit. The camp does have WIFI access although this can be slow at times!
Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives, game walks in the mornings, and night drives. Pump runs are also a popular activity where guests get to join the lodge team on their maintenance visits to the many pumps that supply water to the water holes. Twenty minutes drive from the lodge, guests have the opportunity to enjoy an actual look at village life in rural Matabeleland.
