Royal Zambezi Lodge is a spacious lodge offering a range of accommodation from entry level Classic Suites to their massive and opulent Presidential Suites.

Located just outside the park on the Zambezi River at one of its broadest points, opposite the famous Mana Pools Reserve in Zimbabwe the lodge caters for families, couples and small groups.

Offering a wide range of activities including game drives, walks, canoeing, boat cruises and fishing (You can try your hand at Chessa, Nkupe, Bream, Vundu, Barbel and of course the famous Tiger fish! Their knowledgeable boatmen know the good spots!), mountain hikes, and cultural village trips, as well as a range of relaxing treatments in their Bush Spa, Royal Zambezi caters for both individuals and family groups wanting a good all round experience. The different room types allow for different budgets and tastes.

Location: Royal Zambezi Lodge lies on the edge of the Lower Zambezi National Park, on the banks of the Zambezi River with over 3 kilometres of river frontage. Accessed through scheduled or charter flights via Royal Access, or by combination or road and boat transfer.

Number Rooms: 15 rooms- 8 Classic suites, 4 Deluxe Suites and 3 Presidential Suites

Room Features: 

  • Classic Suites – Ensuite Bathrooms, shady verandas overlooking the river. Two of the Classic  Suites have an interconnected lounge area, making this an ideal room for families of 4 or 5.
  • Deluxe Suites – Ensuite Bathrooms, shady verandas overlooking the river, outside shower, free standing copper bath, private sala and plunge pool
  • Presidential Suites – Ensuite Bathroom, shady verandas overlooking the river, outside shower, free standing copper bath, private sala and plunge pool and large lounge area

Activities: Game drives, canoeing and boat safaris, fishing, walking safaris, cultural village trips and mountain hiking. Activities are all privately guided for clients at no additional cost.
