Green Safaris, who own and operate Ila Safari Lodge in Kafue, have ventured out to Malawi and acquired Kaya Mawa. The world-renowned luxury beach resort is located on Likoma Island. The Green Safaris team have four core values that they follow in Kafue and plan to execute on Likoma Island as well: ecologically sensitive and driven to find lower impact ways of operating through conservation and harnessing ‘green’ technology; exceeding customer expectations through generating unique experiences for them; promoting what is great about each location; and developing people wherever they operate.

We are very excited to see Green Safaris expand their horizons…..watch this space for further developments.  For those of you not familiar with Lake Malawi, this is the perfect beach extension to a safari in South Luangwa, with direct flights between Mfuwe and Lilongwe – and onward to Likoma Island or Monkey Bay in the South.
