Ngoma Safari Lodge is a joint community and privately- funded project in association with the Chobe Enclave Conservation Trust (CECT). Through its socially responsible programmes, the Lodge enriches the lives of those living within this community. Location: In Northern Botswana within the Chobe Forest Reserve bordering the western edge of Chobe National Park and overlooking the Chobe River, 55 kilometres/34.1 miles from Kasane and 135 kilometres/83.7 miles from the mighty Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
Number Rooms: 8 suites (2 have Indian day beds and may be used as a triples)
Room Features: spacious bathroom with bath, indoor and outdoor shower, open-plan lounge, air conditioning, overhead fan, mini bar, tea/coffee station, pool, laundry service. In addition, each suite has a private ‘refresh and relax’ pool conveniently located in the external living area. All rooms are equipped with three-quarter beds that can be converted to a king size bed

Activities: As Ngoma Safari Lodge is situated in the Chobe Forest Reserve, both walking and night drives are permitted. Other activities include, River Cruises, Game Drives, full day safari: – includes a cruise on the Chobe River, driving within the Chobe National Park and a picnic lunch and drinks, birding. Cultural experiences and interaction with the community are an integral part of the lodge’s activities and these include visits to the local school, the clinic and the village
